Tango is the rebellion of today’s human being who has been enslaved in the big city life that does not permit differences, alternatives, probabilities and who has become a stranger to her/his own self even to her/his most basic and established role - her/his sexual identity ….
Therefore tango is the dance for everybody, not only a dance for the people having the ability...Tango is the dance of the performer not the spectator… The mission of TangoTürk is to provide the opportunity to everyone who would like to dance tango…
TangoTürk was founded by a wide team who has taken an active role in every stage of introducing Argentine Tango to Turkey since 1997.With its founders, instructors and students, it forms the widest participative tango formation in Turkey.
TangoTürk defines its vision as making Turkey one of the few centers of Argentine Tango in the world.
The activities of TangoTürk continue with workshops of worldwide known Argentine Tango dancers/instructors, weekly milongas, classes and practicas in Istanbul, Ankara and Eskisehir.
